They’ve Done It! Almost…
Last night the LA Galaxy not only clinched home field advantage for the playoffs, they took home the Western Conference Championship and the Supporters’ Shield. I was a tough battle having to come back from a 1-0 deficit against FC Dallas, but when it was needed, Landon Donovan gave a beautiful assist to David Beckham to tie up the game. Only a few minutes into the second half Juninho drilled one home to score the game winning goal which would give the LA Galaxy the Supporters’ Shield. Can’t wait to see the Play Offs. MLS Cup here we come!
The Galaxy will play the Seattle Sounders FC in the Conference Semifinals. It should be a hard battle going into Qwest Field next week with 35,000 plus fans, but ultimately I think they can pull through. To be honest the hard battle will be either Real Salt Lake or FC Dallas. Go Galaxy!
